Blending heritage with innovation, Loka explores stories on South Asian design, home, culture, food and chai through product design and publishing. Loka, like drinking tea, is an excuse to gather, to convene, and discuss.

The inaugural issue of Loka features a vibrant collection of words, recipes, and visuals from architects, DJs, textile artists, zine-stars, mixologists, tattooers, writers and photographers of the South Asian community. Highlights include a visual essay on indigo blue dye, object stories on the Masala Dabba and the Tabla, and the democratic architecture and modernist sensibility of Chandigarh.
